Roles and rights system

Overview

TimePunch has a distinctive roles and rights system. Through the combination of employee roles, group rights and project rights, all desired all desired combinations can be implemented.

Employee roles

Group rights in combination with employee roles

A group/organizational unit in TimePunch is a team, department or branch.

  • You have group rights if you are assigned to the group/organizational unit as a group leader (e.g. team leader, department leader or branch leader).

This results in the following combinations:

  • Group Lead with the role Employee : The working hours of the group members may be viewed, but not changed.
